Chicago Boy Dead After Being Wounded With Dad In Shooting

A teenage boy died overnight, after being shot while riding in a car with his father over the weekend.

As WBBM Newsradio’s Bernie Tafoya reports, police say they do not have any suspects in the shooting that killed Deshun Winfert, 15, and wounded his father.

Winfert, 15, of the 2900 block of West 65th Street, was pronounced dead at 10:32 p.m. Monday at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
