Two men were charged with murder this week after a Chicago man died 13 years after being beaten on the Near West Side in a gang dispute, authorities said.
Christopher Rodriguez, 31, and Johnny Castillo, 33, have been charged with murder in the death of William Jimenez, who died at age 50 on March 26, almost 13 years after he was beaten, authorities said.
Rodriguez, of the 1100 block of North Keeler Avenue, and Castillo, of the 500 block of West Green Street in Bensenville, both were ordered held on $1 million bail in a bond hearing before Cook County Criminal Court Judge Maria Kuriakos-Cecil today.
